Due to the overwhelming response to our all-day rail excursion June 18 through the Anthracite coal region, the Railway & Locomotive Historical Society regrets to report that all seats have been sold.

However, we are accepting standby registrations at no charge. If seats become available before June 18, we will contact you and provide instructions for completing your ticket purchase. Please complete the form below to register.

Before deciding whether to register, please be aware of the following:

• All tickets must be purchased in advance on a first-come, first-served basis. Seating is limited.
• No sales on the day of the trip.
• The Reading & Northern guarantees all ticket holders a seat but does not assign or reserve seats in advance in standard coaches.
• All children, regardless of age, must have a ticket.
• The Reading & Northern reserves the right to substitute motive power as conditions require.
• No refunds. All sales are final. Unused tickets will not be refunded but exchanged for other excursion dates and/or times.
• Entering and exiting vintage railcars: You may have to pull yourself up from the ground to reach the railcar steps, particularly during photo stops. Also, you may have to lower yourself several feet from the last step to the ground.
• Restroom access on vintage railcars: You may have to wait for others to use the limited facilities.
• Wheelchairs and walkers: These devices cannot be accommodated due to lack of ramps and elevators at most destinations and on vintage equipment.
• Food allergies and dietary restrictions: Please advise us two weeks in advance if you require a special box lunch. We will attempt to accommodate such requests but cannot guarantee availability of foods for individual needs. Your are responsible for determining whether the boxed lunch served en route is safe for you to consume.
• General health: Anyone with a contagious illness is strongly encouraged not to participate. If you come down with a cold or flu at the last minute, please take every possible precaution to prevent infecting others.
